Different from last year, these groups will have limit to how many from Grace Church can participate. However, if throughout the year, there are ones we meet (neighbors, friends, GCR visitors, etc.) we want to encourage lifeCARE group members to invite them.

LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS | Like last year these will take place quarterly and will focus on aspects of our natural lives needing supernatural equipping. This year’s compliment of workshops begins next weekend with the Robby Dawkins Outreach Weekend. the next one will take place in February, when Pat Bopp facilitates a weekend “American Idols | How they Prevent us From Serving Well” and then the third workshop will take place in the spring and the topic is yet to be determined.

  • COACHING MONTHLIES | Once each month Jeff and Margaret will be leading an hour and a half workshop on a focused aspect of coaching. These times will be one third instruction and two thirds practice. Coaching is an acquired skill modeled for us by Jesus. We believe we can make significant gains this year establishing a church culture where coaching increasingly is the norm.

Really! You are created first of all to live in an intimate and fruitful relationship with God. He created you on purpose. He loves you completely. In fact, before you ever indicated a desire to know Him, He was pursuing you. You had already captured His heart and He had determined to convince you to surrender completely to his initiative of love toward you. You are created to live here on earth with God!

Second, you are created to live with at least a few others. At Grace we believe we all are living in the middle of a war. A war that has been decisively won by Jesus’ death and resurrection but continues to resisted by the defeated enemy, Satan. A fruitful life here on earth is predicated on how well you are connected to God and at least a few others. Jesus did not entrust Himself to the crowds but rather to a few men and women. At Grace we seek to equip every person called to be a part of Grace with the supernatural ability to root themselves deeply in their Savior and to root themselves practically with at least a few others seeking to do the same. Your ability to fight well depends on those to your right and left fighting well. Our lives have significance because of our connection with our God and with those He has positioned us beside.

You are not alone! You are not an orphan! You have been adopted into the family of God Himself and you are privy to all the perks and privileges which go along with that honored position. Because you are rooted in Christ and connected to a few others (His body) you can live with all the authority associated with your family name, King of Kings and LORD of LORDS, Commander of all the Armies of Heaven, Deliverer of the ones held in bondage to sin, Healer of all who are sick, Strengthener of those who are depressed, Lover of those who are afraid, Shepherd to the vulnerable, Leader to the lost.
